And if not now, when?”

About Zephira

I have spent over two decades as a healthy relationships educator. Working with youth has always been one of my greatest joys, as I am passionate about empowering young people to build safe and respectful relationships. In 2005, I began managing the Love Shouldn’t Hurt (LSH) program, an outreach and prevention initiative for youth that allowed me to merge my passion for education with a focus on creating safer communities. In 2007, I co-authored the successful LSH curriculum, which has since been adopted globally to educate young people and their allies about the importance of healthy relationships. My dedication to this work was recognized in 2012 when I received the Helen Diller Award for Excellence in Informal Education.

Why Attachment Matters, LLC?

While young people are often taught essential subjects like math, science, and history, the crucial skills of building healthy relationships and effective communication are rarely emphasized. Regardless of the career path they choose, everyone needs the ability to form positive connections and establish healthy boundaries. I believe that when we equip young people with the tools to build secure attachments and navigate relationships with confidence, we set the stage for a healthier, more connected world. I am genuinely excited to be part of Attachment Matters, LLC, where I can help make this vision a reality for future generations.
