About Brock

I have been dedicated to youth work in the Bay Area since moving here in 2006 from New York where I was teaching environmental education on Pete Seeger’s boat the Clearwater. I am highly driven by work that breaks down current systems of hierarchical leadership and creates equity for all people involved. I have worked in schools focusing on community schools work and moved into professional development providing workshops, coaching, and consulting to a wide range of clients. In my free time you will find me playing or dancing on the beach with my son and dog.

Why Attachment Matters, LLC?

I have been interested and curious about relationships and community connections since I was little. I am a mama to my son Charlie and he makes me want to make this world better for him as he grows. I am so excited about Attachment Matters because I can only imagine what my life and relationships would have been like had I been able to look at them through the lens of attachment and understand where people start from when connecting and loving. I am looking forward to supporting schools and youth in learning about attachment and how it impacts all of our interactions in this big beautiful and sometimes difficult to navigate world.
