Overview:
This workshop aims to introduce teachers to the concept of attachment styles, exploring how understanding attachment styles can improve student-teacher relationships, and providing practical strategies for fostering secure attachments in the classroom.

  1. Define attachment styles and understand their significance in the context of student-teacher relationships.
  2. Identify the four main attachment styles (Secure, Anxious-Preoccupied, Dismissive-Avoidant, and Fearful-Avoidant) and recognize their manifestations in students’ behavior.
  3. Understand how attachment styles influence student engagement, motivation, and academic performance.
  4. Learn practical strategies for addressing challenges associated with different attachment styles and fostering secure attachments in the classroom environment.
